Light has a profound effect on our inner state. My work explores how light subtly alters your mood and emotional landscape — turning ordinary materials into something ethereal and alive.

About this work: 

“The Walls of Tavira”

In ancient Tavira, Moorish Princess Séqua and Christian knight Gilão fell in forbidden love during the Reconquista. They met secretly on the river bridge until discovery forced them to leap into the waters—Séqua upstream, Gilão downstream. Their spirits united forever, giving the river its dual names: Séqua and Gilão. Tavira endures as their eternal legacy.
